Jamie Winter

Jamie graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor in Health Science-Occupational Therapy. She began her career in Chicago specializing in pediatrics where she obtained her Neuro Developmental Treatment certification in 2002. She worked with childhood developmental disorders, spinal cord injuries, upper extremity prosthetics as well as working closely with hand surgeons. After moving to Austin in 2006 she transitioned to adult outpatient care specializing in the hand and upper extremity, completing her Certification of Hand Therapy in 2010. Jamie has been a valued member of The Hand Clinic of Austin team since 2008 and is currently serving as the Clinic General Manager. Looking for ways to continue to grow and provide excellence in care, in 2024 she became a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. She spends her free time reading, hiking, gardening, and with her family.
